Casino hotels in British Columbia
Updated · facts checked
In British Columbia the casinos are managed by BCLC and regulated by the Independent Gambling Control Office. The entry age is 19, and since June 2023 B.C. casinos ask every guest for government photo ID, checked against the restricted-entry list. Two casino hotels in the Lower Mainland are on our list, and they could hardly be more different.

2 casino hotels we review
River Rock Casino Resort
River Rock is the easiest casino hotel in Canada to reach without a car: the Canada Line puts YVR seven minutes away and downtown Vancouver eighteen. It pairs 396 rooms and serious suites with the first Gordon Ramsay Steak in Canada, a pool with a water slide and a marina on the Fraser.
Cascades Casino Resort
Gateway's Cascades casino in Langley City with the 77-room Coast hotel attached. Good steak at ATLAS, a 24-hour casino and free parking — but no pool and no theatre.
