How Casino Hotels Canada pays its way
Last revised · hotel facts verified
This guide costs nothing to read, and it does cost money to run. Here is exactly where that money can come from, and what it is never allowed to touch.
Referral commissions from casino operators
On our two online casino pages, the buttons next to each pick can carry partner links. If you open an account at a casino operator through one of them, that operator may pay us a commission under its affiliate programme. Every block of such buttons has a short note beside it saying so. Until a partner link is in place, the buttons simply take you to other parts of this site.
Referral commissions from hotel-booking partners
Every hotel guide carries a Check rates / book button. For hotels where a booking partner is in place, that button is a partner link, says so underneath, and the partner may pay us when you complete a reservation. For the rest, the button leads to the reservations page run by the hotel itself, and we earn nothing from it.
What money never changes
- Hotel points come from our six criteria and published facts. A commission can't move a hotel up or down, and no place on any list is for sale.
- The order of the online casino picks is ours. An operator can't buy a higher slot.
- We don't accept payment for reviews, mentions or press releases from hotels or casino operators.
Play within your means
Gambling here is an adults' pastime, 19+ in most provinces and 18+ in Québec, Manitoba and Alberta. Fix a budget before the first bet, let losses go rather than chasing them, and if the fun drains out of it, every province has a free helpline and a self-exclusion scheme, all listed on keep it fun.
