You can land at YVR and reach your room within minutes without touching a car, because the Canada Line stops beside the hotel. Add Gordon Ramsay's first Canadian steakhouse, a pool with a slide for the kids and a marina on the Fraser, and it is the most convenient casino hotel in the West.

The room to ask for
Two towers, linked by a sky bridge, hold the 396 rooms. Rooms in the Hotel Tower (accessible King, Two Queen, King) all measure 325 sq ft, about 30 m². Suites live in the Casino Tower; size them up from the top. The Presidential (2,800 sq ft) has fireplaces and a starry ceiling over its bed, Penthouses span 1,000–1,200 sq ft with long Fraser River views, Executive suites have a sunken living area, and one- and two-bedroom suites run 525–650 sq ft. Mini fridge, coffee maker, safe and blackout curtains come as standard. Check-in age: 19.
Swim, steam, unwind
The pool, water slide included, is open 06:00–22:00 daily. Absolute Spa on level 2 has six treatment rooms and keeps 10:00–18:00 hours. A gym, and a marina right on the Fraser, complete the list.
Arriving and parking
This is the hotel's big advantage: step out of the lobby and Bridgeport, a Canada Line stop, is right there. Parking is folded into the nightly C$19.99 resort fee; allow five minutes on foot from the West Lot it covers to the hotel doors. Pets cost C$35 apiece nightly, never more than three nights billed, bowls and bed provided.
Where to eat and drink
Gordon Ramsay Steak (the first of his fine-dining rooms in Canada) ages its beef 28 days; a newer section, half indoors and half out, faces the marina. For dim sum, Sea Harbour serves 10:00–15:00 alongside its Chinese seafood. KOI, sushi by the Kuns Omakase team, opened in 2026 where Miku used to be. Later on: noodles at Chopsticks until 03:00, burgers at Rock House, drinks at Privé Bar from 11:00 to 02:00. In The Chairman's Room: a dinner buffet at weekends (Fri–Sun from 16:00 until 21:00; C$85 adults, C$80 seniors, C$35 children) and Sunday brunch, 09:00–15:00.
What's on stage
The Show Theatre has 965 seats, right for comedy and tribute nights, too small for stadium tours.
Downstairs: the gaming floor
The floor never closes, admits over-19s only and includes a racebook as well as poker. Slot and table counts aren't on River Rock's website, so you won't find them here. Loyalty runs on Encore Rewards, the scheme used across B.C. The resort opened in 2004, marked its twentieth year with upgrades (Ramsay's steakhouse among them), and changed hands in June 2026, when a partnership led by First Nations bought it from Great Canadian.

If you're flying in or out of Vancouver, stay here, and come hungry. If the trip is built around a big stage show, look east instead.

Take the Canada Line to Bridgeport, the stop beside the resort; the ride is about seven minutes.
Is there a buffet?
Yes, Friday to Sunday evenings (16:00–21:00) in The Chairman's Room, plus brunch on Sundays.
Can my dog come?
Yes. C$35 per pet per night, and after three nights the charge stops.
