If you book one casino hotel in Canada, this is the obvious candidate: the falls outside the window, two stages under the same roof, a gaming floor you could lose an afternoon on and more restaurants than a weekend allows. The catch is the view, which depends on the room type, so mind the category when you book.

The room to ask for
Everything at Fallsview starts with the window. The resort sells its 372 rooms and suites by outlook (Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, the city, or a mix), and its own FAQ admits that some rooms take in both falls while others only manage one. So choose the category on purpose and confirm the view when you reserve. Deluxe rooms take a king bed, or two queens, or two doubles; each has a little sitting corner with a desk, plus hairdryer, iron, safe and coffee maker.
The suites run in five steps. Diplomat Suites trace the curve of the tower and add a whirlpool bath, with either falls or city in the panorama. Parlour Suites face the American Falls and add a sofa bed and a second television. Executive Suites have a part-view and a separate bedroom. At the top, Ambassador and Premier Suites look straight at the falls; the Premier adds full living and dining rooms and an outsized bathroom. You can check in from 16:00 and must leave by 11:00; room service works mornings (07:00 to 11:00) and evenings (18:00 to 23:00).
Swim, steam, unwind
A daily key opens the indoor pool, 07:00–22:00; a parent has to be in the water with any child under 12. Gym hours: 07:00–21:00. Treatments are by Damara Day Spa, and one tourism ticket listing puts a relaxation massage there at C$158.
Arriving and parking
By the resort's reckoning you are an hour and a half from Toronto and three-quarters of an hour from Buffalo; Pearson is roughly 125 kilometres off. GO trains run to Niagara Falls from Union Station at weekends and on holidays. In town, a complimentary bus links the resort with Casino Niagara at half-hour intervals between 16:00 and 00:45, Fridays through Sundays and on show days. The garage takes more than 3,000 cars, with EV chargers on two levels (six on P5, four on P1). Parking is charged at a daily rate unless you hold Momentum Ignite or above, and only certified service animals may stay.
Where to eat and drink
Reserve first at the two restaurants OpenTable listed among its Top 50 Hotel Restaurants for 2026: Ponte Vecchio (Italian) and 21 Club Steak & Seafood. For something quicker there is Cantonese at Golden Lotus, sushi and oysters at their own bar, a noodle counter, The Falls Deli, and Bar Barista, coffee in the morning and cocktails after dark. The Galleria adds Paramount Fine Foods, Shoeless Joe's, Vittorio's, Lucky's and a brewery tap room (Niagara Brewing Company). Missing for now: a buffet, since none is running, and a nightclub, since Dragonfly is shutting after almost two decades and its successor has no name yet.
What's on stage
Two venues, and upward of 320 shows a year, according to the resort. The OLG Stage holds 5,000 with nobody further than 150 feet back, and the resort quotes Billboard: number one in Canada for venues holding 2,501–5,000 people. The Avalon Theatre holds 1,559, no seat more than 100 feet away. In December, look up Niagara Falls Tourism's listing for Christmas On Ice: 32 Avalon performances, 26 November–20 December 2026, the show's fourteenth season.
Downstairs: the gaming floor
Expect 200,000 sq ft, upward of 3,200 slot machines and 110 tables; entry is 19+ with ID, and babies in arms or strollers are turned away. The Infinity Bar serves on the floor from 09:00 until 01:50. Momentum, Mohegan's loyalty scheme, has five rungs: Soar at the top, then Ascend, Leap, Ignite and the free entry level, Core.
Our take
For a first casino-hotel weekend in Canada, nothing beats it, provided you pay for the view rather than just a bed. Look at the show calendar before you fix your dates, and join Momentum before arriving if you're driving: parking is where the bill quietly grows.

Each route below opens live in Google Maps with Fallsview Casino Resort as the destination. Any time or distance we quote is the one the named source publishes; the map adds today's traffic and timetables.
Drive · Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)

Drive · Buffalo Niagara Airport (BUF)
Buffalo Niagara is closer — about 45 minutes by the tourism board's estimate — but the drive crosses the border, so pack a passport and allow for the bridge queue.Figures from: Niagara Falls Tourism
Transit · Union Station, Toronto
Without a car, the resort's by-train page points to GO Transit trains from Union Station to Niagara Falls. In town, a free shuttle joins Fallsview and Casino Niagara every half hour, 16:00–00:45, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, plus OLG Stage show nights.Figures from: Fallsview Casino Resort
Before you book Fallsview
Will my room look at the falls?
Not unless the room type faces them. The resort's FAQ says some rooms see both falls and others just one, and some face the city instead, so check the category before you pay.
Is there a buffet at Fallsview?
No. The resort's dining page says it is not running a buffet at the moment, so plan on 21 Club, Ponte Vecchio or one of the casual counters.
Can I bring the kids?
Yes. Children can stay and use the hotel; the gaming floor is 19+, and anyone under 12 needs a parent with them at the pool.
